He reminds us that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10), and that those who welcome correction, surround themselves with wise companions, and feast at wisdom's table will walk in understanding and purpose. Those who refuse, however, are lured by the empty promises of Folly and led only toward destruction.
